newseum

This is my favorite museum so far. It costs $18 to get in, but so worth the money. The interactive stuff is great, and there is a whole floor on the first amendment. You can also video yourself as a reporter, which I didn't have time to do, but really wanted to do.
The First Amendment on the outside facade of the building.

These are pieces of the Berlin Wall, brought in from Germany to preserve the history. There is also a checkpoint guard tower, but I couldn't get a good shot of it. The color graffiti on the wall is from a famous artist, but I forgot to jot down his name.

View from the rooftop terrace of Newseum. This building sits on top of the hotel that Lee Harvey Oswald stayed in when he assassinated Abe Lincoln.

The other side of the terrace is a view of the Capitol.
